Dubbed, ” Ghana-Israel Hallelujah Night,” the spirit-filled worship session brought together Christians from all walks of life on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Dzorwulu, a suburb of Accra.
Christians in Ghana and their Israeli counterparts have joined hands in a night of worship to their Maker.
It was held at the Mission of Hope Ministries, with Rev. Ebenezer O. Alabi serving as the host.
The session featured among others famous Hebrew singer, Sar Avaram of Israel who came down to Ghana for the specifically for the night.
For the Ghanaians, it was an occasion to trace the root of the their Christian faith to Israel.
Pastor Alabi described the night as the night of settlement, calling on Christians to take pride in the root of their religion’s.
“We Christians need to be proud of Jerusalem; the God of our father Abraham,” he said.
He spoke about how Muslims take pride in referring to the source of Islam and Mecca.
“So what we are doing is we are also connecting back to that source. We are connecting spiritually,” he stated.
