Speaking at the launch, Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Dzifa Abla Gomashie, commended TV3 for curating Ghana’s Most Beautiful platform to celebrate the country’s unique cultures and tourist sites. She stated that the show makes it easy for the tourism ministry as the contestants turn out to be ambassadors for tourism in their regions. “GMB is a great initiative, especially in promoting tourism to the outside world. I commend the TV3 team for this show, and the ministry is in support of their great initiative,” she said.

Madam Gomashie called on the delegates to stay true to themselves and endeavour to expose their cultures in a unique way to attract votes from the masses.

Known for years of consistency in promoting Ghana’s unique culture through pageantry, Ghana’s Most Beautiful has channeled out young ladies who are leading the cause of championing women’s participation in decision-making in the country.

The launch also witnessed the assembling of traditional chiefs and members from the diplomatic community. The pageant event is expected to last for 12 weeks.
