Ghana Oil Company Limited, also known as GOIL, has officially opened its new office complex at Kpone, near Tema, in the Greater Accra Region.
The new office complex is expected to serve customers in the Kpone -Tema business enclave as well as the Volta, Eastern and Oti regions. The office complex is fitted with aluminium cladding and curtain walls and has offices for all departments equipped with other facilities including a canteen and kitchen as well as cubicles for both a bank and customer interaction.
The office project was supervised by GOIL’s own consultants and engineers.
Speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony to outdoor the edifice, the Group CEO and MD of GOIL, Kwame Osei Prempeh, said the company was on course to modernise its infrastructure to be in tune with its expansion drive.
He expressed hope that the new zonal office would go a long way to facilitate smooth business transactions and boost productivity and morale of staff.
He emphasised that GOIL still served the best products and offered the best services, paying attention to quality standards and the interest of its customers.
He encouraged Ghanaians to invest in GOIL. He referred to major projects such as the Bitumen plant in Tema, the gas re-circulation project and others as evidence of better prospects for the company and Ghana.
Board Chairman of GOIL, Kwamena Bartels, noted that GOIL was still positive about the future and determined to position itself to capitalise on new opportunities as the economy rebounded from the effects of COVID-19.
