Minster of Works and Housing addressing the Press
GOVERNMENT HAS announced its intention to secure $51 million credit facility for the completion of stalled affordable housing projects.
The projects started by former President John Agyekum Kufuor in Wa, Upper West Region were not continued after his government left power.
Minister of Works and Housing, Samuel Atta Akyea, made this known in his address to journalists at the Information Ministry’s Meet-The-Press engagement on Tuesday, May 14, in Accra.
He noted that some contractors abandoned the various housing projects started by former President Kufuor because they were not being financially resourced.
