Accra Hearts of Oak’s Patrick Razak 64th minute strike was enough to calm their fans when they clashed with Asante Kotoko in Kumasi yesterday.
Both sides produced uninspiring performances to the chagrin of the almost full stadium especially in the first half.
Hearts’ goalkeeper Ben Mensah denied Kotoko the opener in the first half when he parried a free kick to safety.
Thereafter, Hearts also came close to scoring but Felix Anang’s intervention saved the situation.
Before the Kumasi 1-0 win, Hearts had struggled in their last meetings; the last being another not too impressive 1-1 draw to Bechem United.
