Abena Kyei Boakye
Actress and TV hostess Abena Kyei Boakye has denied claims that her cooking show dubbed ‘The Eno Show’ has been taken off Atinka TV.
She said she personally decided to move the show to a different TV platform.
Speaking in an interview with NEWS-ONE on Sunday, she said her reason for moving the show was strictly business-related.
The Eno Show is an hour cooking show that seeks to educate the public, especially the youth, on Ghana’s rich and unique culture.
It involves an interactive moment with resource persons for viewers to get in-depth knowledge about Ghanaian culture.
There is also the cooking section where a resource person is tasked to prepare a Ghanaian delicacy for the benefit of the youth who are obsessed with exotic foods.
The highlight of the show is that only Ghanaian indigenous dishes are prepared on the show.
It has been moved from Atinka TV to Max TV and now shows every other Sunday from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
“I have no problem with Atinka TV over my programme. The only thing was, I had wanted a partnership with them but it was not coming through the way I wanted it, so I moved on. Besides, I had a better offer from Max TV. I like the idea that they want to subtitle the programme, so those who don’t understand Twi can also enjoy,” Abena revealed.
