Blogger Kobby Kyei has revealed that he was inspired to start blogging to give a voice to the voiceless and less privileged in society.

“I chose to be the voice of the voiceless because I realised a lot of developmental issues were not really tackled in the blogging industry. Before I started blogging, I told myself I want to stand for impact. Therefore, I had to stick to that,” he said.

Kobby Kyei made this statement in an interview on Accra-based radio station HitzFM, on the Day Break Show hosted by Andy Dosty.

He further indicated that he has rejected a lot of offers from some events organisers who are willing to pay any sum of money just to promote strippers on his social media page.

“I have always rejected people who invite me to their event to promote strippers on my page and are willing to pay huge sums of money for it.

“Be that as it may, the Kobby Kyei brand stands for developmental issues that makes impact in our society,” he told Andy Dosty.

Kobby officially started blogging  in 2017 and has since written, interviewed and worked with a lot of Ghanaian celebrities like KSM, Sarkodie, Kwabena Kwabena, Akwaboah, King Promise, Samini, Stonebwoy, Kwaw Kese, Abeiku Santana, Mzvee, Adina, Mona4reall, Cina Soul, Sammy Forson, just to name a few.
