Musician, Patapaa has said Shatta Wale has apologized to him after disrespecting him on a verse in his diss track to rapper Yaa Pono.
This is because he straightened Shatta up to do the needful.
In August 2021 the one-corner hitmaker hurled insults on Sarkodie, Shatta Wale & Amerado on Hitz Fm over unpleasant mentions of him in their songs.
According to him, Sarkodie in his 2018 ‘Meye Guy’ song took jabs at him by saying “had it not been God who has blessed him with money, Patapaa would have performed at his burial service.
He said he is not comfortable with that line and returned Sarkodie’s fire by calling him a “f**l”. He also added that he hated him.
With Shatta Wale, he disclosed that when Shatta had his “beef” with Yaa Pono, he mentioned, “my name in one of his tracks saying he has stopped giving hype to underground artiste so if you need hype, go to Patapaa.”
In his response, Patapaa threw vulgar shots at Shatta and attacked his mother in the process.
A year after the incident, Patapaa is back to say he had received calls from Shatta Wale’s camp to apologize to him.
“You know me when you do something I have to straighten you. Even Shatta Wale I straightened him and his manager called and said he is sorry,” he said in an interview with blogger Nana Baffour.
Also, he refused to apologise to Sarkodie for calling him a “f**l”.
He disagreed that Sarkodie mentioning him in his song was for hype.
“..Who’s @sarkodie? Don’t compare him to me,” he noted.
