Ing. Nana Poku Agyeman receiving his award from President Akufo-Addo
ING. NANA Poku Agyeman, the Kumasi Metro Roads Director, is a proud recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
The highly revered award, which is also known as ‘The Head of State Award’, was presented to Ing. Agyeman following his roles in the development of the youth.
The award was presented to Ing. Agyeman by President Nana Akufo-Addo during a colourful ceremony in Accra.
Ing. Agyeman, is popularly known for his charity works and his passion to assist the youth to develop.
A citation that accompanied Ing. Agyeman’s award mainly highlighted his significant roles to develop the youth in the country.
The citation accompanying the award read: “For your contributions and support towards the growth and development of young people in Ghana through the Head of State Award Scheme given this day, December 9, 2021 by H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana and Chief Patron of the Award Scheme.”
Ing. Agyeman later said he was happy that his efforts towards youth development has been recognised and promised to sustain his good works.
