Former Vice President and President-Elect of the US, Joe Biden has taken a jab of the Coronavirus Vaccine.
Mr Biden was vaccinated on live television as a sign of building public confidence in the vaccines.
His vaccination comes as US prepares for mass distribution of the vaccines next year.
Mr Biden got vaccinated at the Christiana Care Hospital in Newark Delaware alongside his wife Dr Jill Biden.
Over the next 21 days, Mr Biden, who served as Vice President of Barack Obama, will take another jab of the vaccine.
He noted that “I’m doing this to demonstrate that people should be prepared when it’s available to take the vaccine.
“There’s nothing to worry about. I’m looking forward to the second shot. So is Jill.”
