Dr Kennedy Agyemang receiving his award
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kenoga Company Limited, Dr Kennedy Agyemang , was last week honoured by the United Nations Economic and Social Council ((ECOSOC) for his tremendous contribution to sustainable development in Ghana and beyond.
ECOSOC is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations responsible for coordinating the economic, social and related work of 15 UN specialised agencies.
Its awards scheme is targeted at recognising and inspiring like-minded personalities who have helped in the United Nations agenda for a sustainable development and individuals who have dedicated themselves to work selflessly to ensuring a much better society for Africa as a continent.
Dr Agyemang was honoured together with other personalities like actor Kwadwo Nkansah aka Liwin, Bishop Obinim, Prophet Kobi and a host of others.
Earlier this year, he was awarded best herbal distributor, best herbal advertiser and charity award at the Ghana National Herbal Awards held on January 7, 2018 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi for his immense contribution to the health sector and the herbal fraternity. The UN award is his second in 2018.
