The remains of late veteran actor, Kojo Dadson, was over the weekend laid to rest.
He was buried at Busua in the Ahanta West District of the Western Region on Friday after his funeral rites in Accra.
His memorial service was held on Thursday, March 11, from 6am. That was followed by farewell parting at his father’s house, Nissui House on Ring Road Central via his home before his remains was conveyed in a convoy to Busua – Ahanta West for interment.
Some sympathizers joined the funeral service at the Ring Road house, where all COVID-19 protocols were put in place.
The actor, born Emmanuel Kojo Dadson, died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, while undergoing dialysis for kidney disease.
He was 68 years and died exactly two weeks after his wife passed away.
Kojo Dadson was famous for his role in productions such as ‘Home Sweet Home’.
The prolific actor has film credits such as ‘Love Brewed In An African Pot’, ‘Run Baby Run’, ‘Home Sweet Home’, ‘Sun City’, ‘Hotel St. James’, ‘Doctor Love’, among others. He earned a reputation for his humour and comedic acting.
He suffered stroke in 2012 and had since been recovering and was wheelchair-ridden for eight years before his unfortunate demise.
