Kwabena Owusu Aduomi Rejoins NPP

Ahead of the upcoming general elections, the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Council of Elders has successfully brokered a reconciliation deal with Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, a former Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways and Independent Candidate in the Ejisu By-Election.

The reconciliation took place at a meeting on Monday, August 5, 2024, at the residence of Mrs. Rosemond Appiah Menka, Chairperson of the Council of Elders.

Engineer Owusu Aduomi, who had been at odds with the party, responded positively to the overtures made by the Council of Elders and announced his unconditional return to the party.

At the meeting, he expressed his commitment to the NPP, stating that his “umbilical cord is planted in NPP and that the NPP runs through the veins of his blood.”

The Chairperson of the Council of Elders, Mrs. Rosemond Appiah Menka, welcomed Owusu Aduomi back to the party and acknowledged his significant influence in the Ejisu Constituency and beyond.

She expressed confidence that his return would bolster the party’s fortunes in the December 7th elections.

Dr. Moussa Jebir Kebir, Vice-Chairman of the Council of Elders, appealed to NPP members to accept Owusu Aduomi’s return wholeheartedly.

The successful reconciliation was marked with a group photograph featuring Engineer Owusu Aduomi, Mrs. Rosemond Appiah Menka, Dr. Moussa Jebir Kebir, and other Council members.
