The Chief Executive Officer of the Kwahu-East District in the Eastern Region, Isaac Agyapong has been honored with the Community Impact Award for Local Governance Excellence.
The prestigious recognition highlights the impactful programs and projects the Assembly has executed over the past seven years, marking a significant milestone in the District’s ongoing journey toward community development.
From 2017 to 2024, the Kwahu-East District, under the dedicated leadership of Isaac Agyapong, has successfully implemented over 177 programs and projects aimed at enhancing the lives of its citizens.
These initiatives span a wide range of essential areas, including education, health, water and sanitation, roads, rural electrification, and social protection, among others.
The award ceremony, organized by THE BUSINESS EXECUTIVE, took place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra.
The event not only celebrated the District’s achievements but also underscored the collective effort and unwavering dedication of every member of the District.
The DCE, Isaac Agyapong after receiving the award, explained that “Receiving this award is not merely a recognition of our work; it is a testament to the resilience and commitment of our community’’.
“Together, we have strived to create a better, more prosperous environment for all. This award serves as a milestone in our journey, reminding us of what we have accomplished and inspiring us to continue our efforts to build a brighter future.’’
