A 28-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself yesterday in an uncompleted building in Western Region, which astounded residents of Bibiani Old Town.
According to sources, the deceased, Alobor Agana, was a farmer and the people could not tell exactly what compelled him to take the action.
An eyewitness, who gave his name as Danboat and claimed to be one of the first people to arrive at the scene, told DAILY GUIDE that the body was found in the uncompleted building.
He indicated that the police were at the scene to bring down the body, which has since been deposited at a morgue.
The paper gathered that the police received a distress call from some residents, which led to the immediate deployment of police personnel to the scene.
According to reports, the police are working with the family of the deceased to investigate the matter.
