Redavia Solar Power, a global market leader in alternative energy solution, has signed a deal with the Emigoh Ghana Limited and the Methodist University College Ghana (MUCG) to offer them free solar energy for six months.
This is to help the two institutions reduce their operating expenses by cutting down their power bill in the face of rising utility prices.
With a considerable decrease in the cost of buying and installing solar systems, solar power has become a sustainable and cost-effective energy alternative for business owners.
Management of MUCG has been searching for an alternative energy solution for some time now and the lease agreement has come in handy. In the past, other providers were unable to meet the requirement of the educational institution.
The President of MUCG, Akwasi Asabere-Ameyaw, was thrilled with the new deal and said Redavia was offering the institution the opportunity to reduce carbon emissions and also make savings that could be plugged back into the university to ensure growth.
For the management of Emigoh Ghana Ltd, the solar power deal fits perfectly into its philosophy and fundamental purpose to make the future better and worth living for its Ghanaian employees.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Stephen Eku, said the alternative energy solution would help management to build a first-class organization that would cater for its customers and the world at large through the provision of quality health and nutrition.
“After working for years to create a premium and sustainable food supply chain, I am delighted to partner with a company like Redavia that will allow us to also reduce our carbon footprint in a cost-efficient way,” he said.
Redavia introduced the “Covid-19 Resilience Lease” to provide solar power plants to businesses for a six-month period at no cost to them.
The Founder and CEO of Redavia, Erwin Spolders, said “we are glad to be able to make a difference for our business partners in this time of need and start win-win relationships that will last for decades.”
“‘The Covid-19 Resilience Lease’ programme is already a huge success and we are keen to scale up the programme further. We invite more companies to apply,” he added.
