Miss India Manushi Chhillar has won Miss World 2017.
Miss England Stephanie Hill was the first runner-up and Miss Mexico Alma Andrea Meza Carmona was the second runner-up.
It’s the 67th edition of Miss World held in Sanya China. Over 118 beautiful women from all around the globe took part in the pageant. The 20-year-old medical student from Haryana, Indian, was the lucky lady to walk away with the crown. It’s India’s sixth Miss World title. The last time was in 2000, when Priyanka Chopra won the crown.
African was represented in the top five by Miss Kenya Magline Jeruto, while South Africa, represented by Miss SA 2017 runner-up, Ade van Heerden, was among the top 10. Ghanaian representative Afua Asieduwaa Akrofi did her best but could not win.
“Congratulations Miss Manushi Chhillar on winning Miss World 2017,” Afua said on her Instagram after sharing a photograph with Manushi Chhillar.
Afua will return home today at 11: 30 am on an Ethiopian Airline.
