NIB Supports Accra Newtown Central Mosque

The National Investment BankĀ (NIB) donated assorted food items to the Alhaji Norgah Memorial Central Mosque in Accra Newtown last Friday.

The donation was to aid the community in the celebration of the Eid-Ul-Fitr festivities and foster a strong bond with the Muslim community in the locality.

The items included 35 bags of rice, 20 boxes of cooking oil, 20 crates of Coca-Cola products and 30 cartons of water.

Head of Corporate Affairs, Charles Komla Wordey, together with the Branch Manager of the NIB Newtown Branch, Winifred Baidoo, made the presentation on behalf of the bank.

Mr. Wordey, in his remark, said NIB identifies with the Muslim community and expressed commitment to further strengthening the bank’s relationship with the Muslim community.

The items were received by the Imam of the Mosque, AlhajiĀ Haruna Rasheed and his aide Alhaji Haruna Seidu.
