Nkosuohene presenting the items to an official from the Nsawam Female PrisonsĀ
Germany-based broadcaster and model, Nkosuohene, born Francis Frempong Manson, on Saturday donated different items worth thousands of Ghana cedisĀ to inmates of the Nsawam Female Prisons.
The gesture is part ofĀ a social responsibility project being rolled out by the NkosuoheneĀ Charity Organisation to give back to society.
It was supported byĀ Paradise Pack and Happy Man, producers of Happy Man Bitters.
Among items donated were bags of water, cartons of soft drinks, Kleesoft detergent,Ā biscuits, shaving sticks, sanitary pads, UB Hair relaxers, toothpastes and brushes, skin protection creams like Sivoderm, tissues, soaps and other toiletries.
The Nsawam Female Prisons officer, ASP Appiah Kubi,Ā who received the items, congratulated Nkosuohene and his team for coming to the aid of the women in the prison.
She mentioned that the inmates lacked most of the items donated and therefore could not hide their enthusiasm, as she also called on other philanthropists to emulate and remember the inmates at the female prisons.
āWe always go to the orphanages but forget those in prisons also need our help. I believe my helping hand to these womenĀ will inspire others to support,ā Nkosuohene indicated.
Nkosuohene is a celebrated radio presenter, event promoter, a master of ceremonies and also an actor.
He works with Nkosuo TV and Top Afrik Radio in Germany. He is often described as one of the most sought-after Ghanaian event hosts in Europe. He was born in Accra and had his basic education both in Ghana and Italy.
He moved with his family to officially stay in Italy due to work and education. After sometime, he was employed as the youngest radio presenter in a very popular radio station in Italy. He was later moved to Germany to further his education, during which time he travelled to places like Spain, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, France, Austria, Holland and others for shows and events.
According to him, his charity train will soon visit widows who need care and love.
