Kennedy Agyapong at the polling station
Kennedy Agyapong, one of the presidential candidates for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has cast his vote at the Assin Central Constituency.
He was seen wearing a white long-sleeve shirt and blue denim jeans, accompanied by party loyalists. Agyapong also waved to party members present at the polling station.
The primaries began at 7 a.m., with polls opening across various stations until 2 p.m. local time. Over 211,000 NPP delegates are expected to vote in 276 constituencies.
The five candidates competing include Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.
