‘NPP Won’t Rely On EC For Victory’

Justin Kodua Frimpong

The General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has stated that the party will not rely on the Electoral Commission (EC) or the police to secure victory in the upcoming elections.

According to him, the NPP is confident that its systems established compelling campaign messages will help the party to win the December 7 elections.

Recently, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, ex-President John Mahama, accused the EC of colluding with the NPP to manipulate the 2024 elections.

“The Electoral Commission’s decision not to allow agents of political parties to observe the ongoing voter transfer exercise points to only one reason – the EC’s avowed determination to aid the ruling NPP in stealing the outcome of the 2024 elections,” Mr. Mahama stated.

Responding to allegations, Mr. Kodua Frimpong said his party is confident in its ability to win.

“We have established our own systems, and combined with our compelling campaign message, we are confident in our ability to win,” he stressed.

The NPP General Secretary stated that the NDC should focus on its own agenda rather than always engaging in confrontations with everyone, including the EC, police, and judges.

“The NDC should concentrate on their own message instead of constantly engaging in conflicts with everyone, including the Electoral Commission, police, and judges. Their behavior reeks of desperation!” he concluded.
