Obour Takes Over At Ghana Post

Former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obuor, has commenced work as the acting Managing Director (MD) of the Ghana Post Company.

The musician took over after a formal introduction by the Minister of Communications and Digitilisation, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful to the staff of the company.

As part of his mandate, Obuor is expected to see to the expansion of the company’s postal network to viable areas and improve service to non-viable areas.

He will also be occupied with improving mail security, the existing ancillary services such as financial services to augment the traditional ones and promote all postal products to create awareness of their existence, among other task.

The minister speaking after she introduced the new MD to the staff of the company, said “I am optimistic that he would deliver and make the company vibrant.”
