Okaikwei MP Donates ICT Equipment

Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Boamah, has donated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to two schools to enhance learning.

The Okaikwei Central Constituency is home to the beneficiary schools; the Presby Cluster of Schools in Apenkwa and the Abeka Cluster of Schools in Fadama.

Fifty tablets, four changing cabinets, a projector, laptop, ten BOTs, and ten electrical kits are among the equipment.

The Municipal Director of Education, Mrs. Cynthia Aboni, received the equipment from the MP during the presentation ceremony.

Mr. Boamah, in a short speech, stated that the purpose of these resources is to improve ICT teaching and learning in the community.

“This project represents a government initiative in partnership with a private partner called Positivo BGH,” he said.

The Municipal Director of Education expressed her gratitude to the MP and the government for recognising the efforts of teachers and students.

She assured that the equipment would be used for its intended purpose.
