Osei Tutu
Osei Tutu, an award-winning musician and trumpeter, will host the maiden edition of his ‘Gospel Jazz Concert’ at the Assemblies of God, Ghana (Central Assembly) at Community 4 in Tema on Saturday, August 25.
The concert, which is on the theme: ‘His Mercies Endureth Forever’, has Osei Tutu as the headline artiste.  He will perform alongside some selected gospel artistes. The event will kick off at 5:00pm.
The concert will bring together Christians from all walks of life and from different denominations together on one platform to worship and praise the Almighty God.
The concert will also be used to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Community 4 branch of the Assemblies of God Church.
Trumpeter Osei Tutu, who is credited with several stage performances, is, indeed, sure to get the Ghanaian audience who would attend the event to sing along to some of his popular songs.
He has assured his numerous fans of a well-organised and a memorable concert that would forever remain fresh in the minds of Ghanaians.
Osei Tutu, a former leader of Edikanfo and Freedom Family Bands, has worked with a number of prominent Ghanaian highlife musicians like Amakye Dede, the late Jewel Ackah, C.K. Mann, Pat Thomas, Rocky Dawuni, Osibisa, Manu Dumango, Amandzeba Nat Brew, Ebo Taylor, American trumpeter Clark Terry, Kofi Ghanaba, among others.
Some of the gospel musicians he has so far worked with are Yaw Sarpong, Ohemaa Mercy, Joyce blessing, Uncle Ato, SP Kofi Sarpong, Cecilia Marfo, Selina Boating, Bernice Ofei, Obaapa Christie and a host of others.
