The second edition of the highly anticipated Plan B FM inter-community soccer challenge was officially launched today, Friday July 7, 2023, at the forecourt of Plan B 104.5 FM.
With the tournament set to run from July 22nd to August 13th, 32 teams will compete for the ultimate prize scheduled to be held at the Tema Community 2 Mexico Astro turf.
The winning team will take home a mega trophy, medals, and a cash sum of money, while the second-placed team will receive a silver trophy, silver medals, and a cash prize. For the third-placed team, they will be awarded with bronze medals and a cash prize for their efforts.
Chairman of Free Minds Communication Company Limited, owners of Plan B FM, Dr. Martin Asare Aniagyei, spoke at the ceremony regarding the upcoming tournament.
He promised that this year’s edition will introduce more features to give players a better experience on the field. He added that the maiden edition offered a 50-minute playing time with a 10-minute break.
