Nigerian police have allegedly sprayed protesters with teargas in Abuja.
Local media reports say the police sprayed the teargas in a bid to disburse protesters.
The protesters took to the streets on Saturday morning, June 12, 2021. Today marks Nigeria’s Democracy Day.
But recent developments in the country including the suspension of Twitter has forced citizens to protest rather than celebrate Democracy Day.
