The General Overseer of Miracle Rock Fire Ministry at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region, Prophet Samuel Kwaku Akoto, has been reportedly stabbed to death at Oyibi in the Kpone-Katamanso District of the Greater Accra Region.

He was found dead in a bush at Lomnava, a suburb of Oyibi.

The body of the preacher has been deposited at the morgue of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra pending autopsy.

Police are yet to arrest anybody in connection with his death which has astounded most residents of the area and church members.

Assistant Superintendent Police (ASP) Juliana Obeng, Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the Tema Regional Police Command, who confirmed the death to DAILY GUIDE, noted that Tema Regional Police, in collaboration with the Dodowa Divisional Police Command, have launched full-scale investigations into the matter.

She appealed to residents of the area and the public, who might have information about the death of the pastor to assist police in investigations.

Felix Osafo, a member of his church, mentioned that on that fateful on Sunday he called the prophet on cell phone to meet him for a discussion but he said he had travelled to Oyibi to meet someone.

He disclosed that the prophet proposed to meet him in the evening, adding that “when I called his cell phone again in the evening, someone answered and told me that the body of the prophet had been found with his phone close to him so I should come.”

According to him, he quickly went to his church at Dodowa and informed the wife of the pastor to report the matter to the police before rushing to the scene.

He claimed the pastor was stabbed by the assailants somewhere else and dumped at the place.
