STL Amandi Foundation (SAF) has presented assorted Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and food items to the Ministry of Health (MoH) as their support to the country’s Covid-19 response activities.
The items included medical protective overall, nose masks, sunflower oil, rice, milk, fruit juice, flour, couscous, tin tomatoes, burgul, red lentil and salad dressing.
The Foundation also presented an amount of GH¢ 180,000 to the National Covid-19 Trust Fund.
Executive Director of STL Group, Nadav Simhoni, making the presentation on behalf of the Foundation, commended the government for its effective response to the Covid-19 pandemic that has brought almost the whole world to a halt.
He said STL through its Foundation, has dedicated its volunteer efforts to support and promote the education, health and welfare of children and adults both in near and far communities.
Mr. Simhoni thus noted that in such an unprecedented time such as Covid-19 STL is honored to be part of the Ghanaian community and to contribute to its development.
“We felt a strong duty and desire to join the fight against Covid-19 by providing essential medical equipment and food items to the nation’s frontline medical personnel protecting the citizenry from the effects of the virus,” he said.
Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman- Manu receiving the donation expressed gratitude to the Foundation adding that it was through such support that the country has been able to chalk some progress in its Covid-19 response activities.
