THE Second Lady, Samira Bawumia is starting a four-day working tour to the Eastern Region.
The rationale behind her visits in the region aimed at interacting with the Zongo Communities, and the Chiefs is to preach the gospel of the ruling government achievements and the need to vote for President Akufo – Addo for the second term.
Mrs Bawumia began the tour from the Suhum Constituency on Monday where she interacted with the market women, visited the Chief’s Palace where she paid a courtesy call on Osaberima Ayeh Kofi.
The second lady thereafter, moved to Suhum – Ayekotse Zongo to interact with the Muslims and the party members where she was given an awesome reception by hundreds of NPP supporters led by the Parliamentary Candidate, Oboafo Kwadwo Asante.
She continued to New Juaben South and North constituencies respectively, where she addressed a durbar of opinion leaders, market women, and youth groups organised by Michael Okyere Baafi, parliamentary candidate of the area.
On Tuesday, is storming Kade, Akwatia, Lower West Akyem, and Upper West Akim constituencies respectively where she will interact with the Zongo communities.
She is expected to end her tour in the days ahead in the Kwahu Afram Plains South and North, Nkawkaw, Upper Manya Krobo, Lower Manya Krobo, Asuogyaman and then move to Ho.
The Second Lady who is being accompanied by the Regional Minister, Eric Kwakye Darfour and the Regional Executives of the ruling party at every constituency she visited was being received by parliamentary candidates in the area.
