Sammi Awuku (right) addressing NPP executives in the various constituencies in the Savannah Region
THE NATIONAL Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku, has initiated a new political campaign strategy to help the ruling political party to win more parliamentary seats in the newly created Savannah Region in 2020.
He firmly believes the new strategy will help the NPP to amass more votes during the upcoming polls in order to enable President Akufo-Addo to retain his position and continue with his good works for the country.
During a tour of the Savannah Region, Mr. Awuku, accompanied by Maxwell Coffie, the NPP Deputy National Organizer, interacted with key members of the party in the region.
They engaged NPP constituency executives at Damongo, Daboya, Sawla-Tuna-Kalba, Bole Bamboi, Salaga North, Salaga South and Yapei Kasawgu.
During his engagement with the NPP executives, Mr. Awuku said government had worked tirelessly to put Ghana on the path of prosperity, stressing the need for the NPP to win the polls and sustain its good works.
According to him, even though the NPP is the incumbent, it would not be complacent and would go into the election as an opposition party seeking political office.
He urged the party executives and rank and file to sustain the progress made so far, work hard, and also continue to stay united.
He urged them to continue to preach the good works of President Akufo-Addo so they could win more votes for the party to make victory in 2020 possible.
As part of the tour, Mr. Awuku engaged market women, commercial drivers, dressmakers, masons, carpenters, welders, hairdressers, health workers and teachers, where he thoroughly explained government’s policies to them.
The NPP National Organizer used his engagements to receive feedback on how well the Akufo-Addo government is doing on its policies. He admonished the people to vote “Yes” in the upcoming referendum in order to get MMDCEs elected.
