The municipal chief executive of the Ayawaso west municipal Mrs Sandra Owusu , has been honored by the Humanity Magazine International  for excellent  leadership.
The honor is in recognition of Mrs Owusu’s tireless effort in restructuring the assembly, thereby building stakeholder confidence within the short period of time.
A certificate presented to madam Sandra    reads in part that, ‘’ this is in your recognition    for the  shown courage in  discharge of duties, clarity in  objectives  to set the structures in ensuring development of the area.
You are a beacon of the argument that, women should be given public roles, Ghana appreciates you” the statement concludes
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Humanity Magazine International, Mr. Yahaya Alhassan, presenting the award at a ceremony in Accra said that, Municipalities are  vital state institution which needs to be managed by highly competent professionals, he therefore, used the opportunity to express an appreciation to president Nana Akufo Addo for appointing what he described as a role model for the girl-child and the community.
He made it known that Humanity Magazine International aims at promoting quality leadership by recognizing the achievements of public and private institutions, to serve as shining examples for other managers to emulate.
“At Humanity Magazine International we also promote African business by encouraging such business to team up with their counterparts in other parts of the world, for these indigenous businesses to expand and create jobs for the youth, Also create partnerships with municipals in Ghana and their counterparts in Europe ,America and Asia for shared development ” he added.
Mr. Alhassan encouraged other managers of state owned institutions and private enterprises to emulate the qualities of Mrs Sandra Owusu and other winners of the Humanity award by aiming for greatness.
In a related development, the chief executive officer of the magazine revealed that,the Radio kejetia which is in partnership with the humanity magazine and the ambassador Bridgewater project would be operational in June,2019 to promote women advancement in Ghana ,including continuous campaign for corrective and preventive measures against fire outbreaks in the market of which Mrs Sandra Owusu has been supportive of the  project  .
