Fuse ODG
UK-based Ghanaian musician Fuse ODG will climax his much talked-about Tina Festival with a huge musical concert at the Trade Fair in Accra on Friday night.
The Tina Festival is a three-day festival to promote Ghana and Africa than never before. It is also to encourage and empower Africans to embrace and support their own.
It started on Wednesday with different activities, including a trip to Fuse’s school at Akosombo in the Eastern Region.
Fuse led a team of volunteers to embark on a painting and motivational speaking exercise at the school to empower children out there.
That was followed by a Global Diaspora Conference & Exhibition at the Accra International Conference Centre on Thursday to address issues on African development.
Tonight, the festival will climax with a concert at Round Pavilion at Trade Fair Centre, where some of the world’s best musicians will be paraded.
British artiste Stephanie Victoria Allen, popularly known in showbiz circles as Stefflon Don, arrived in Ghana days ago for the festival.
She will perform alongside Fuse ODG, Sarkodie, Lethal Bizzle and a host of others.
Prior to the concert, there will be market fair and activities for music and arts fans. Patrons of the evening concert are expected dress in a touch of ‘kente’.
Fuse ODG has been using his music and influence to promote Ghana and Africa in a way he can.
The concert will, therefore, display the best of rich African culture.
