Celebrated dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, known in the music scene as Stonebwoy, will this December host his annual musical concert dubbed “Bhim Concert” in Accra.
The event, which has Stonebwoy as the headline artiste, is slated for Friday, December 23 at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Stonebwoy will share the stage with some selected award-winning hiplife, hiphop, afrobeat as well as dancehall artistes.
This year’s event, which is the 6th edition, is being organised to celebrate the achievements of Stonebwoy in the Ghanaian music industry as well as to entertain his myriad music fans.
Stonebwoy will perform most of his favourite hit songs at the event, which is expected to attract thousands of music fans from all walks of life.
Some of the popular hit songs Stonebwoy is expected to perform include ‘Activate’, ‘Therapy’, ‘Sobolo’, ‘Bawasaaba’, ‘Go Higher’, ‘Baafira’, ‘People Dey’, ‘Come From Far’, ‘Putuu’, ‘My Name’, ‘Bhim Nation’, ‘Ololo’, among others.
The Bhim Concert is part of Stonebwoy’s vision to showcase Ghana’s musical richness while promoting his enviable brand, local artistes (both established and up-and-coming), or bands, and connect with his grassroots consumers.
Since his entry into the Ghanaian music industry a couple of years back, Stonebwoy has won the hearts of many music lovers in the country.
He has worked and performed on a number of local and international platforms alongside a number of celebrated Ghanaian and foriegn artistes.
The dancehall act, whose music and stagecraft has attracted a large fan base across the world having staged performances in UK, USA, Australia, Italy, and Holland among others, has shared stage with international acts such as Lauryn Hill, Alkaline, Busy Signal, Davido, Popcaan, Morgan Heritage, Wizkid and a host of others.
With many awards to his credit, Stonebwoy was in 2019 adjudged the Best Artiste in African Reggae/Dancehall at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) in Lagos, Nigeria.
