Kamaldeen Iddrisu
Mr Benefo Asare, a Lecturer at one of the private universities in Accra has been arrested and beaten by students of the school, on suspicion of being a homosexual.
Eyewitnesses told this reporter that the lecturer was beaten by the students, together with his partner, and left for dead.
It was learnt that earlier this month, students of the school in one hostel organised a party to celebrate the birthday of a colleague. The party was in full flight around 9:00pm when one of the students visited a washroom on campus located close to the school mosque, only to find Mr Asare engaged in anal sex with a male student.
An alarm was raised and before long, the merrymakers pounced on the gay couple and subjected them to severe beatings.
At the time of filing this story, the fate of the gay couple was unknown, but it was gathered that they were severely beaten by the students and left for dead.
The gay lecturer’s partner was mentioned as one Kamaldeen Iddrisu, a level 100 communication student.
