TC Clique
Takoradi-based music group, TC Clique, is back with a new tune titled ‘100% Taadi’, which features Ayesem and Too Much.
The song, which was produced by Willies Beat, eulogises Takoradi as one of the best places in the world.
The group is expected to break new records with the song and win themselves some new followers in the coming weeks.
It is their first single in 2019 since they last dropped two songs? ‘We Come From Ghana’ and ‘Mr. DJ’ in December 2018.
Speaking with NEWS-ONE on Tuesday, the group believes the song is gradually taking over.
“100% Taadi is to throw more light on the Takoradi way of life and terminologies. It’s gradually catching up with masses,” the group said.
TC Clique, an acronym for Twin City Clique, brought together over seven MCs to form the group many years ago. Their common interest at the time was to raise the bar and achieve higher heights after groups like Sass Squad and TH4 Kwagees had emerged.
In 2003, some of the members of the group opted out to pursue other interests, leaving current members like Marcus Guy, Kayci Mowe and Trash Pakay.
The trio recorded their first album under Demuf Productions titled ‘Whe Nstop Hen’ (nothing can stop us).
The album also had great songs like ‘Sophie’, ‘Agro Ne Fom’, ‘Paul Amba Nt?m’ amongst many others.
The group has since not looked back and went on to work with some great highlife artistes like Silas Yankson, Paa Kofi Shabo, Kofi Bentsil and many others.
