Wine and drinks manufacturing giants, TT Brothers Limited, has rallied support for golf in the country.
Recently, the Tema-based company presented cartons of Uncle T Lifestyle Energy Drinks worth thousands of Cedis to officials of the Professionals Golfers Association (PGA) for the Accra Gold Fields professionals golf competition.
Golfers who distinguished themselves in the Gold Fields sponsored competition left the Tema Country Golf Club with cartons of the energy drinks as part of their prizes.
President of Uncle T United FC, Isaac Tetteh (TT Brothers), said, “We at TT Brothers believe in supporting sports in totality, hence this gesture.
“We don’t only support football. In the past, we have supported disciplines like weightlifting, armwrestling, among others. We will keep supporting sports in the country. We also believe sports is one of the major platforms we can offer the youth to express their talents; don’t forget it is big business now and many families and countries that accorded it the needed importance have benefitted from sports,” he mentioned.
Vincent Torgah and Victor Brave Mensah demonstrated brilliance in their respective categories to emerge winners.
PGA President Tony Mintah expressed thanks to TT Brothers and Gold Fields for rallying support for the sport and urged other corporate bodies to follow suit.
