Twellium Industrial Company, producers of Verna Mineral water has partnered with the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) to bring health campaigns and projects to Ghanaians.
Through the partnership some hospitals will be supported with incubators and machines for the new-borns, while educating Ghanaians on major topical issues including breast cancer, cervical cancer and issues of hypertensions.
Dr. Frank Serebour, President of the Ghana Medical Association who led executive members of the association to tour the facility last Thursday praised the company for using highly efficient state-of-the-art technology in their operations.
He said GMA is satisfied at the speed at which the machines works, production and quality control standards and professional competence.
“We were happy to note that in the course of their operation, there is no touch of human hands to contaminate the water. Everything is done by machine.”
Adding, he said, this partnership will help GMA promote health in the country, which is one of our key philosophies.
“We care for Ghanaians and we believe that health is very important so any company who shares our ideals and philosophy we are happy to work and partner that company and project the health of Ghanaians.
“Neonatal jaundice and prematurities are the major mortalities in new-borns and so we believe that through this partnership we would be able to equip deprive hospitals with some of these equipments and also embark on some of these educational campaigns on topical issues for the benefit of all.”
Marketing Supervisor of Twellium Industrial Company, Emelia Gyesi, said Verna mineral water is safe for all.
She said the company deploys highly efficient state-of-the-art European technology in the manufacturing process.
