The organisers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) will today hold a one-day music summit for music stakeholders in the country.
The interactive music summit is expected to attract music stakeholders such as instrumentalists, singers, sound technicians, artiste managers, and producers among others.
It is being organised to upgrade the skills of Ghanaian music stakeholders to enable them meet the challenges ahead of them in their chosen career.
It will feature some of the most seasoned music personalities in Ghana who will share ideas, principles and experiences they have acquired within the music circuit over the years.
Some of the personalities to speak at the seminar include Kiki Banson, CEO OF EKB Records; Rex Omar, chairman GHAMRO; Abraham Adjartey, CEO of GHAMRO; Trigmatic, a musician and a host of others.
This year’s edition of the VGMA will take place on Friday June 25 and Saturday 26 and over thirty artistes have been billed to perform on both nights of the awards ceremony.
It will be nights where all the guess works, speculations concerning who wins what comes to rest as winners of the various categories grab their awards at the biggest event on the entertainment calendar in the country.
Of course everyone is waiting with bated breath to know who takes over from Kuami Eugene as Artiste of the Year.
The two-day event will be laced with live music perfomances. VGMA 2021 will be a night where Efya, Kuami Eugene, Eno Barony, KiDi, Kwesi Arthur, Kofi Kinaata, and Adina rock the stage alongside Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton Medikal, Okyeame, and Epixode.
Others are Dope Nation, MzVee, Yaw Tog, Sista Afia, Yaa Yaa, Dead Peepol, Gyakie, Fameye, Bethel Revival Choir, among others.
