William Kankam Opoku mentioned that the donation was his widow’s mite of helping bring comfort to the needy who are sometimes abandoned by their families.
He however, pleaded with civil society groups and other non-governmental organisations to come in to support the less privileged in our society.
He again pleaded with the public, especially those in the diaspora who are willing to support her initiative, to reach him via his social media platforms.
He encouraged the staff of the home to keep on with the good work they are doing for the children and promised that anytime they call on him, he will be there to help.
