Samuel Boadu
Accra Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu is sure his side will come good after week four of this season’s campaign.
The capital-based side remain winless after two games – drawing against Legon Cities and recently against WAFA in Sogakope.
The champions slow start of the season has generated questions from the football fraternity.
But the former Medeama trainer has stated emphatically that he is not under pressure despite going past two games without a win.
And responding to whether he is under pressure after the WAFA game, he said, “Not at all – no pressure, me I know myself maybe from the fourth match going things will change. When Hearts of Oak start picking up, we are unstoppable.”
He pointed out that the team will continue to work hard and avoid and guard against basic mistakes like what accounted for the equaliser at Sogakope.
Boadu added, “There is a little mistake that we need to correct. The goal that we conceded, I could see that it was a misunderstanding or miscommunication that cost us for them to cancel that goal.
“Tactically they are very disciplined, their tactical awareness is ok. They are very young, they run a lot but we strategised not to allow them to advance.”
Hearts next face stunned Aduana Stars this weekend on match day three.
