Muslims in Ghana have been asked to use the upcoming Ramadan fasting to pray fervently to Allah to continue to bless and protect President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

They have also been entreated to remember Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, Ministers of state and all other government appointees in prayers to Allah.

Member of Parliament (MP) for Subin Constituency, Eugene Boakye Antwi, who made the call, stated that Muslims must earnestly pray for the president and his vice to effectively develop the country.

According to him, the president and his vice have done a yeoman’s job within a short period to develop the country’s economy to inspire hope to Ghanaians.

The Subin MP stated that President Nana Akufo-Addo would implement prudent programmes and policies to help expedite the proper development of the country for the citizenry.

He pointed out that the good policies of President Akufo-Addo and his government can only be achieved if Allah continues to protect, guide and bless them.

Mr Boakye Antwi therefore asked Muslims in the country to support President Akufo-Addo and his government in the development of the country.

The Subin MP made the call when he stormed the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission and Kumasi Central Mosque on Friday to donate food items to the Muslims ahead of the Ramadan fasting.

Mr Boakye Antwi disclosed that he usually donate to Muslims in Kumasi during Ramadan, adding that his generosity has resulted in blessings for him, his family, constituency and Ghana in general.

He thanked Muslims in the country for their invaluable contributions to the growth of Ghana, noting that the entire country would be behind Muslims, as they commence the 30-day fasting during Ramadan.
