This year’s edition of the annual Glitz Africa Fashion Week (GAFW) will take place in October 17 to 20 at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra.
This year’s event, which is the seventh edition, would bring together a number of personalities like fashion industry players and fashion enthusiasts on one platform to celebrate the fashion industry in Ghana.
It is expected to attract fashion designers from some selected Africa countries who are expected to also showcase their collections at the event.
The event would kick off on Thursday, October 17 with a beauty forum at Labadi Beach Hotel, followed by a cocktail party at the residence of the French Ambassador.
Some of the activities for the event include young design talent show, runway shows, business of fashion seminar, photography sessions, exhibitions, graduate show, runway shows, among others.
The objective of GAFW is to provide the platform for Africa’s fashion industry players to showcase their talents, network, celebrate one another and expose them to uncharted markets.
GAFW opens vast opportunities for designers to showcase their brand to thousands of visitors, including fashion buyers, retailers, local and international press, as well as increase visibility and promotion of brands associated.
Tickets for the event are available at the Glitz Africa office at Labadi opposite the Trade Fair Centre, top floor of the First Atlantic Bank.
