Dr. Anyah Reigns As Ghana’s Most Respected CEO

The hard work, dedication to service, humility and compassion of Dr. Felix Anyah, founder of the Holy Trinity Medical Center and Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm, continue to earn him several honours among his peers.

On Friday, November 27, 2020, Dr. Anyah, a humanity-centred leader, was adjudged Ghana’s Most Respected Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for healthcare and wellness.

The coveted award was presented to Dr. Anyah at the Ghana Industry CEOs Awards 2020.

The awards ceremony was held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra and had in attendance top CEOs, diplomats and Government officials.

The 2020 Ghana Industry CEOs Awards is the third of an annual awards scheme aimed at identifying and publicly recognizing the most outstanding chief executives in corporate Ghana across a wide range of sectors.

Awardees included CEOs of both private and public sector corporations and institutions.

Awardees were selected and voted for by the Ghanaian public.

Man of Many Awards

Dr Anyah is a man of many honours and respect.

He has over the years been awarded by several institutions for his immense contributions to the development of Ghana and his selfless leadership, and humanitarian projects.

Dr. Anyah has for several years, exhibited an exemplary leadership and management culture at the Holy Trinity Medical Centre and the Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm, putting people, not money or material gains, at the centre of his decision-making process.

Indeed, he has won several humanity awards for his great generosity and also touching lives in Ghana in the area of health/medical tourism, integrative medicine, business excellence in healthcare, leadership in health sector, and management in health sector.

Dr. Anyah has since 2015, served in various capacities, and he was the first board chairman of Health Facilities Regulatory Agency, and moved up to become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in 2017.
He was recently appointed as Board Chairman of the Ho Teaching Hospital.

In 2018, he won the overall best award for the CEO category and again won five best healthcare CEO awards from different organizations, besides being voted the most respected CEO in the health sector in Ghana for the years of 2018 and 2019.

Speaking after the award ceremony, Dr. Anyah said “by God’s grace I have had about five best CEO awards.”

He said “but it looks when you say best CEO and Respected CEO, there is something different. And the respected appears to be something that is looked at probably not only by the internal customers but by the eternal customers and people who may not be your direct customers.”

“And one thing this is showing us is that, even as a CEO, we are in an inter-related world, and that your work ethics, your productivity, the way you take care of people, everybody sees it.”

He said being a good leader is not about money but rather how one treats people, and bond with employees.

Dr. Anyah has been a practising medical professional for 41 years.
