Obiri Acheamfour, the chief executive officer of Acheamfour Obiri B.A Ventures and a prominent fashion designer in Ghana, says the country’s fashion industry is rapidly catching up to international standards thanks to its distinctive and creative designs.

The fashion designer who has branches in Sunyani and Accra, claims that Ghanaian fashion designers are popular worldwide due to their vibrant hues and eye-catching prints that honour their heritage by telling various tales.

He urged Ghanaian companies to capitalize on the global market in order to increase their profits.

In light of the present designs available on the global market, he continued, “this is the time for the Ghanaian fashion industry to shine and make its gains, especially in light of the fact that many designers are working to improve their already existing designs.”

According to Obiri who has worked with a number of celebrities, this is to make sure that the upcoming generations of fashion designers are prepared to succeed in a field that is always evolving.

“We’re pushing for more integration of technology in design and research as it is important for us to adapt in today’s creative landscape,” he stated.

However, he disclosed plans to launch a magazine and a pub in Accra which is expected to attract top fashion designers, as well as fashion stylists from Ghana and a few other African nations.

According to him, the goal was to raise the bar by bringing the fashion and modeling industries closer to Ghana and Africa in general.

Top Ghanaian artists and other hip personalities will light up the launch with their performances.

With support from his partners, as well as designs from some of the best fashion designers in Nigeria, the fashion magazine offers a distinctive perspective on fashion and lifestyle.
