I Don’t Fear Death– Kennedy Agyapong Replies To Threats

Kennedy Agyapong

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has revealed that no amount of threats and intimidation from ‘fake’ prophets and pastors will thwart his effort at exposing ‘dubious’ characters in the Christendom.

Speaking on The Seat on Net2 TV on Monday, Mr. Agyapong believes no ‘fake’ pastor has powers to kill him.

According to him, if he dies today, no one should think that he was killed by a ‘certain man of God’ because he will only die when God calls him.

“People call me and they threaten; this prophet and that. I don’t fear death. If I die today, so be it. If I am dead, I want all Ghanaians to understand that it is not any pastor’s powers that killed me. It is time God has called me. No pastor has power to say he will bring me down because of what I am doing,” he said.

Mr. Agyapong has sworn to expose fake Ghanaian men of God and has not relented on his efforts for some months now. He uses The Seat on Net2 TV as a platform to pursue that agenda.

A couple of weeks ago, he caused the arrest of Bishop Daniel Obinim, head pastor of the International God’s Way Church.

Obinim was arrested on Tuesday, May 19 and was charged with the publication of false news and forging of documents contrary to Sections 208 and 159 of the Criminal and other Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29) respectively.

But he was subsequently granted bail after allegedly struggling to meet bail condition of a sum of GH¢100,000 with three sureties with one person to be justified.

On Monday, Mr. Agyapong said that he is not done with Obinim and will report him to the Economic & Organised Crime Office (EOCO) for an alleged tax scam regarding some $7 million and $2 million he transferred separately to buy houses in Dubai and America.
