Gospel songstress, Jayana, says it is worthless for people to do things to please their fellow human beings.
Speaking in an Instagram post on Wednesday to inspire gospel music followers, she has said only God, the supreme creator deserves to be pleased.
“Do not bother yourself to please human beings, please God because that is the most important thing,” she said.
“In this life, you sometimes have to choose between pleasing God and pleasing man.
“You must concentrate on pleasing God alone, and if He is pleased, you must be pleased,” she indicated.
“You should not prove yourself to anybody because how can you keep pleasing a human being till the end of time. The things others say about you, you can’t change it. The only person you can please is God who human beings need validation from,” she added.
Jayana is a Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer and an entrepreneur. She is known for her powerful and captivating vocals.
Her powerful voice when paired with stunning compositions and expert instrumentation makes her songs beautiful pieces like ‘I Believe’, ‘Who You Are’ and ‘Gye W’ayeyi’ among others.
According to her, it is not necessary to please human beings but rather please your God.
