Mahama Accused Of Stealing 24-Hour Economy Idea

In a recent controversy that has taken the political landscape by storm, former President John Dramani Mahama has been accused of stealing the idea of the 2020 presidential candidate of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga.

Ayariga claims that the 2024 presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama appropriated his notable policy proposal of the 24-Hour Economy production, a three-shift system for companies and businesses as captured in his 2020 manifesto.

According to Ayariga, the 24-Hour Economy policy was a key component of his 2020 Manifesto.

He alleges that Mahama, during his tenure as President, plagiarized the idea and presented it as his own.

The policy aims to stimulate economic growth by allowing businesses and industries to operate round the clock, thus maximizing productivity and generating more employment opportunities.

Hassan Ayariga, who has expressed his frustration over the alleged stolen idea, voiced his disappointment at the former President’s actions.

He accused Mahama of lacking originality and exploiting his innovative policy concept for his personal gain.

This unexpected turn of events has sparked debates among political analysts and experts, with some questioning the integrity of Mahama and his team during his time in office.

Supporters of Ayariga are calling for accountability and a thorough investigation into the matter, claiming that this incident raises concerns about Mahama’s leadership style and credibility.

On the other hand, loyalists of Mahama argue that this accusation is politically motivated and aimed at tarnishing his reputation. They contend that policy proposals can often overlap, and it is not uncommon for ideas to be shared among politicians.

As the accusations persist, it remains to be seen whether any legal action will be taken against Mr. Mahama or if this controversy will have a significant impact on his political future. Ghana’s political landscape is now abuzz with speculations about the potential consequences for the former President, as well as the implications for the upcoming elections.

As the situation unfolds, Ghanaians eagerly await further developments and clarification from both parties involved.

It’s not the first Mahama is stealing ideas from his opponents including the NPP.

He had allegedly stolen slogans and policy ideas from the NPP.
