Miss Ghana 2019 Runner-Up Resignation Personal – CEO

Inna Patty… Sarah Odei A moani

Exclusive Events Ghana, organisers of Miss Ghana pageant, has confirmed that Sarah Odei Amoani, Miss Ghana 2019 first runner- up, has resigned.

According to the organisation, it has received Sarah’s resignation letter, in which she stated that her decision to relinquish the title as “personal”.

“Her lawyers wrote to inform us about her decision to resign and according to the letter, it is a personal decision,” CEO Inna Patty said on Friday.

Inna Patty has also rejected media reports that Sarah was “unhappy with demands required of her.”

She explained that the only expectations Sarah was supposed to meet are the requirements for which winners work as queens of Miss Ghana.

“Contestants are fully aware of these requirements when they take up the mantle to be queens,” she further stated.

“It is unfortunate that she couldn’t continue with us and we wish her well,” Inna Patty added.

Exclusive Events hinted that this decision may have been catalysed by “rather unfortunate circumstances” on Sarah’s part, to which management did not have the opportunity to remedy or assist despite all their effort made to do so.

“We assure followers of the brand that all is well. We will keep doing our possible best to work with winners who are ready to work with us,” she added.
