The Miss Ghana Queens
The Miss Ghana Foundation, in collaboration with the Old Students Association of Ghana Secondary School and BenGift Clothing, recently donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the people of Sukoran in the Akim Oda District of the Eastern Region.
The gesture was part of the Miss Ghana Foundation’s social responsibility to give back to society.
The foundation, which is the charity wing of the Miss Ghana Organisation, has used its platform to generate awareness for various socio-economic problems over the years.
This includes collaborating with government institutions and corporate firms in sending relief to various communities across the country.
The Sukoran activity was one of the social interventions the foundation embarked on this year.
Among items donated were clothes, boxes of biscuits, confectioneries, assorted soft drinks and educational materials such as books, boxes of pens, pencils and crayons to schoolchildren in the community.
Members of the foundation who presented the items were Nana Ama Benson (Miss Ghana 2018) and her two runners-up ? Laila Issaka and Elizabeth Mary Maclean.
The team subsequently made a stop at Akokoaso Senior High School, where they also presented the school with a projector and a laptop.
