MzVee has finally announced she has parted ways with Lynx Entertainment, months after rumours that she was having problems with the record label she had worked with in the last eight years.
Rumours were also rife that the singer had been sidelined due to the emergence of new artistes signed on the label, thereby, making her dormant on the music scene.
Others also claimed she was pregnant; an allegation she has since come out to deny.
But in a press statement on Wednesday to announce her exit from Lynx Entertainment, MzVee disclosed that she took a break “to re-energise, get in touch with herself and redesign her artistic expression.”
According to her, it was a mutual decision by both parties to go their separate ways.
“These eight years with Lynx Entertainment have been absolutely delightful and a blessing, and I am glad we still hold our relationship,” she said in her statement.
She added that Lynx Entertainment would always be a strong pillar in her career.
Also in a press release, Lynx Entertainment mentioned how proud they were to have watched MzVee grow into the woman she is now and wishes her the best in her next journey.
